Cookies & Tracking

Last updated: May 30, 2026

Rapport uses a small number of cookies and browser storage items. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not share data with third-party trackers.

What we use

  • Authentication (essential): when you sign in, we store an access token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. Clearing it signs you out.
  • Preferences (essential): the town you've assigned as yours is stored so we can show it on your profile.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider records request metadata (IP, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention.

What we don't use

  • Third-party advertising cookies
  • Cross-site behavioral tracking
  • Social media tracking pixels

Your controls

You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. Doing so will sign you out and reset preferences. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in.

Changes

If we add analytics or third-party tools, we will update this page and notify users.
